Every year more than 70,000 Australian school leavers head for the Gold Coast to celebrate their release from the secondary school system with a wild mixture of alcohol, sex and rock and roll. Follow a group of teens as they experience first hand the hype and pitfalls of 'Schoolies Week'.

Blurred was first produced for STAGE X, an initiative of
the Queensland Performing Arts Trust in 1999 at Festival Hall in Brisbane. Blurred was also adapted into a screenplay and nominated for an AFI award in 2002.

A graduate from ADAT and QUT (Acting), Stephen Davis began his career as an actor, performing for companies such as La Boite Theatre. As a writer, Stephen has written for film and television, as well as theatre. Stephens theatre commissioned work includes Drown (Queensland Theatre Company) Scar and Porn (La Boite) Turtle Island and Wet Dogs (Barking Gecko) Tranzitions, Juice and Blurred (Queensland University of Technology). He has also worked as an in-house writer for April Films and as a script doctor and developer for 20th Century Fox in Sydney and Los Angeles.
