The masks will arrive classroom ready. The kit includes mask + elastic headband + press rivets for attaching the elastic headband to the mask + 1 Neoprene padding insert + sandpaper. Buyer will receive instructions about how to attach elastic, sand the mask and then paint and decorate the mask.

For an additional $75 (total$725) the masks will arrive classroom ready which means the mask is sanded + has the elastic headband attached + 1 neoprene padding insert. Buyer can then prime & paint and decorate the mask.


Alternatively for an additional $150 (total $800) the masks will arrive stage ready, which is sanded, primed painted and decorated with an elastic and neoprene padding insert. In the case of \"Brighella, Pantalone, Tartaglia, Il Capitano & Il Dottore\" are decorated with hair Mustaches/eyebrows.

-Store below 40 degrees and away from heaters, direct sunlight, and fire.

-Spray and wipe as needed between uses for hygienic and sanitary mask work in the classroom.

-Ensure the masks are cleaned and dry before storage (We highly suggest storing the masks with silica gel packets which absorb and hold moisture and should be replaced or dried out annually).

A slapstick is a theatrical tool used in commedia dell’arte performance as a prop to simulate a slap. The two piece paddle is used by actors to accentuate the impact of a hit often on another actor’s backside.

Fools In Progress Theatre Company has collaborated with Antonio Fava to produce 3D printed Commedia dell’ arte masks that are beautiful, durable, comfortable and affordable. Unlike latex masks that break down and tear a couple of years after purchase these rigid, plastic -leather look masks will still be in use decades from now. Simply spray with disinfectant or wipe down with an alcohol wipe in between uses. We currently have 5 characters available in the set.
