SYNOPSIS
In the height of a summer outback in Central Queensland, something weird is going on. Vic Flutter has returned from his first year in Art College, and hes looking stranger than usual. Hes locked himself in the shed, is creating weird sculptures out of road kill, and is seemingly behind a series of strange events unfolding for his family and their small community.

Kathryn Ash has worked for over twenty-five years in theatre, as a performer, writer and dramaturge, and is a co-founder of JUTE Theatre Company in Cairns. As a successful published writer she has written some fifteen plays, including Cake, Flutter and the New Dramatists Award-winning Bag OMarbles.

SYNOPSIS
Rubys aging lover has died in the kitted-out tray of his Hilux Ute, gassed on a beach in Darwin; Trishs lover has done a bunk from their roadside store in the Daintree; Patricia is on a bus, heading North into the night, running from a faded and seedy past; and Jonah is an angry boy from Alice Springs who has made a terrible mistake. When their journeys collide at the Three Ways truck stop in the Northern Territory, everyones destination will change.

PLAYWRIGHTS
Kathryn Ash has a BA Honours degree in Japanese from the University of Queensland. After graduating, she studied at the Australian Theatre For Young People in Sydney, and is a founding member of the JUTE. Stephen Carleton is an award-winning playwright and a scholar. His plays have been performed by La Mama, Griffin Stablemates, JUTE, La Boite Theatre Company, and Darwin Theatre Company. Gail Evans is a Darwin-based playwright and performer, having written for Knock-Em-Down Theatre, Darwin Theatre Company, Tracks Inc, Corrugated Iron Youth Arts, Royal National Theatre of Jingili, and JUTE. Anne Harris was co-founder and artistic director of LEND Theatre Company in New York from 1993 - 1997 and is currently director of the Central Australian Young Playwrights Festival. Her awards include the Jerome Fellow, the Julliard Fellow, and the Harry Kondoleon Playwriting Award.
