\"Juice is confronting, funny, sad and a truthful representation of modern teen issues\" - StageDiary
It is the end of Grade Ten. Fifteen-year-old Rodney and a group of friends decide to celebrate by throwing a paddock party. With the help of two casks of cheap wine, a telling game of truth or dare, and a dead canary, the group eagerly relinquish their childhood only to be confronted with the realities of adulthood.
Juice was first produced as part of the Brisbane Arts Early Start program, and has been performed at schools throughout Australia.
A graduate from ADAT and QUT (Acting), Stephen Davis began his career as an actor, performing for companies such as La Boite Theatre. As a writer, Stephen has written for film and television, as well as theatre. Stephens theatre commissioned work includes Drown (Queensland Theatre Company) Scar and Porn (La Boite) Turtle Island and Wet Dogs (Barking Gecko) Tranzitions, Juice and Blurred (Queensland University of Technology). He has also worked as an in-house writer for April Films and as a script doctor and developer for 20th Century Fox in Sydney and Los Angeles.
